My music magazine: Front Cover, Contents Page, Double Page Spread

Front Cover

This is my final magazine cover. It has a range of magazine production techniques. I have used advertisements, coverlines and a banner down the left third. The colour scheme works well, and there is no abnormal colours used to make it not go together. Also it includes all the basic identities on a magazine e.g. Barcode, Volume number and price.   

Contents Page

This is my contents page for my magazine project. It uses all the key features which people look for in magazines e.g. Features and Regulars, Editors note and advertisements. The features are spread apart by a bar. This is to show the separation between the regulars and features and ensure they are not jumbled about.

     

Double Page Spread

This is my double paged spread. The title spreads over both pages like most DPS. The text is in the order of a Stan First the the interview formatted in columns. I have made sure that the text doesnt cove up the models face and have made the space between the questions from the interview

Final Masthead

This is the masthead I have created and will use throughout my magazine. The style of it has relevance to the title of the magazine with the style being quite muddled but legible.

My Magazine will appeal to:

How I intend to maintain a house style:

(colours, imagery/design features)

I intend to keep the background colours and same font throughout the magazine.

Format of my contents page:

(single or double page, are you separating features/ regulars/ ‘on the cover’, how will your images be arranged?)

It will be a single page and I will separate the features and regulars on the covers. The images will be spread evenly around the page but in non-chronological order.

My DPS Theme:

(what is your DPS about? Where, when, what are the images you will be using? What will the main body of text be?)

The DPS is about the career of an up and coming musical duo. The images are from the photo-shoot and they are of the two people together.
